The NHS Christie Hospital and Tim Bacon Foundation commissioned a mural design which honours the legacy of Tim Bacon and celebrates the contributions of all those involved in the continual running of The Proton Beam Therapy Unit. The brief required the blending of NHS brand colours and those of The Tim Bacon Foundation. Both parties were eagar to conceal the plug socket that sat prominently on the murals wall, whilst still allowing it to be accessed by the staff. How did I achieve this? Simple. My mural design recognises the achievements of those at The Christie, so it was only right that the cleaners that have worked so tirelessly throughout the pandemic feature on its walls. vacuum and all.

What People Are Saying?
“Penny was a delight to work with. Her idea is so creative and she really worked hard to meet the brief and more. We are thrilled by the end piece and we think she has a wonderful future ahead of her.”
— Louise Stimson, Head of Fundraising at The Christie charity
“Penny was fantastic to work with, she took on board our complex brief that we gave her and ran with it, she was quick to respond to any amendments that were required sending back new proofs quickly. We are extremely happy with the end result that celebrates the people that support and work at The Christie.”

Social Media.
For the Tim Bacon Foundation and NHS Christie an online presence is key to achieving their fundraising goals each year. As such I created short animations to use across their social media platforms. You can see a sample of these below.
